Our Dogs...
The intelligence, athleticism, and trainability of Border Collies is unmatched. Our dogs excel at sports while still winning in the show ring. We are so proud of our breeding program here at Shoreland. We import strong dogs from all over the world and match them with the complementing strong dogs here. We breed for temperament and build above anything else. Structure is key to a happy Border Collie, a poorly built dog won't be able to perform in agility as well or as long as a properly built strong dog. We have spent years investing in our dogs. After all those years we are proud to say that we have uniquely calm, even tempered and well structured dogs. Our dogs win big in everything they enter.

The Australian Shepherd, a lean, tough ranch dog. A European breed perfected in California by way of Australia. Thats why many of our 'Aussies' are imported from Australia. We work hard to ensure only the best qualities get passed down to the next generation of dogs. While we do breed for calmer temperament and show performance our dogs are always more then happy to get down and play. Many of our pups have gone on to place in working dog events such as herding. Others are happy sleeping on the couch and playing in the yard. After decades of work matching dogs together our Shoreland Aussies are uniquely calm and even tempered. Our dogs win big in both sports and confirmation.

Shoreland Kennels was founded by Sue Mayborne. Sue has been breeding dogs for over 40 years dedicating her life to her dogs. She began Judging dog events for The American Kennel Club in 1987 and continues to judge. Her experience both in and out of the ring isn't only limited to shows. She is a skilled dog trainer and breeder. All this knowledge helps in determining good matches for breeding as well as assessing litters.
Shoreland Kennels is maintained by Tim Mayborne, Sues loving husband, and a small staff of cleaners, groomers, handlers, and trainers.
Besides having the number one all breed obedience dog in 1989, OTCH Shoreland's Big Harry Deal UDX, many top dogs have come out of Shoreland Kennel.
